This sauce is inspired by a recipe with roots in the history of Sicilian gastronomy, recalling the famous combination of "pasta chî sardi". The recipe enhances wild fennel which, combined with the savory taste of sardines and anchovies, creates a richly nuanced sauce, born from the millennial encounter between Sicilian and Arab culinary traditions.

Ingredients

Wild fennel 40%, SALTED SARDINES (Sardina pilchardus) 15%, SALTED ANCHOVIES (Engraulis Encrasicolus) 12%, extra virgin olive oil 10%, sunflower oil 8%, dried tomato 6%, white WINE VINEGAR (contains SULPHITES) 3.5%, sultanas 1.5%, PINE NUTS 1%, onion 1%, chili pepper 1%, salt 1%.
No added colourings or preservatives
Stir before use. Possible presence of oil on the surface due to the normal composition of the product.
