It was born near the port of Trapani from very ancient origins. The Genoese sailors, docking in the port of Trapani, taught the Sicilians how to make Genoese pesto. The people of Trapani decided to modify the recipe using typical Sicilian products, replacing the basil with dried tomatoes and the pine nuts with almonds.
Its flavor contains all the flavors of Sicily and with that pinch of chilli pepper it makes it versatile, both for seasoning first courses, as a spread on bruschetta or for filling delicious crostini.

Tomato pulp 52%, sunflower seed oil, basil 8%, rehydrated dried tomato 6%, tomato concentrate, avola almonds 3%, wine vinegar, salt, garlic, chilli pepper, acidity regulators: lactic acid, acid ascorbic.

CONSIGLI D'UTILIZZO

Condimento pronto per la consumazione. Mescolare prima dell'uso. Scaldare a piacimento. Possibile presenza di olio in superficie dovuta alla normale composizione del prodotto. Perfetto per condire pasta, bruschette e antipasti, per condire la pasta per dare un tocco creativo per deliziare il palato.
