Among many pasta shapes, the most traditional and loved by adults and children. Since 1865 this format has been made with simple durum wheat semolina and water. Its lines on the surface and its roughness have the ability to retain every precious drop of sauce.
In the Italian tradition, penne goes perfectly with arrabbiata sauce, but being a very versatile format it is easily adapted to creating many recipes with the most varied sauces and ragù.
