The “strasc'nat”, from the custom of dragging the pasta on the table with a finger to obtain the classic, concave and round shape ideal for collecting all the sauce that accompanies them.
They spread between the 12th and 13th centuries, especially in the Bari area, and today they are the main symbol of the Apulian gastronomic tradition.
This pasta format handcrafted with durum wheat semolina and water goes perfectly with our turnip top dressing as tradition dictates but does not disdain any other sauce.
