The undisputed protagonist of Sunday lunches in upper Lombardy, polenta taragna differs from the traditional version due to the stone-ground mix of corn flour and buckwheat flour which determines its appearance and particular taste.
It can be prepared as a single dish combined with typical cheeses or to accompany meat, game, porcini mushrooms and ragù.
